Programme Objective

This Programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the FinTech industry while equipping them with essential managerial skills to thrive in this dynamic sector. On completion of the Programme, graduates will be able to:

  1. Explain the key FinTech concepts and theories related to emerging technologies, digital platforms, and data analytics.
  2. Evaluate the opportunities and challenges in FinTech management and develop innovative solutions that leverage technology to improve financial services.
  3. Formulate FinTech solutions by integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines, such as management, data science, ESG, law, and psychology, to meet the industry’s needs.
  4. Appraise the ethical and regulatory requirements in FinTech and adhere to professional standards and guidelines in FinTech solutions development, management, and implementation.
  5. Interpret and analyse financial data using advanced techniques to make informed managerial decisions and recommendations in the FinTech industry.

Total Tuition Fees:

Local Students: HKD 150,000
Non-local Students: HKD 200,000
Bridging Course Fee*:  HKD 4,800 per course
*Students without prior study in Economics/Finance or FinTech must pass the non-credit-bearing bridging course(s) "Economics and Finance for FinTech" and/or "Cryptography and Blockchain" before the programme starts.
Candidates must 
Graduated from a recognised university and obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance, Fintech, Management, Psychology, Law, Economics, Business, or other related areas;

Language Requirements

1) Fulfilled English proficiency requirement in oral and written English
a. Overall score 6.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Academic), with no subtest score lower than 5.5;
b. Score 550 (Paper-based test) or 80 (Internet-based test) in TOEFL; 
c. CET6 450;

 
Applicants with degrees awarded by institutions where English is the medium of instruction and assessment may be granted exemption from the language requirement. Candidates who do not possess the specified qualifications may still be considered for admission if they can demonstrate equivalent qualifications and portfolios.
